What a busy day of celebrations we had today. Wee Folk came with all their traditional Irish instruments, told stories linking to what animal the instruments are made from. Some children got the chance to play these, all children joined in and had great fun. Girls from Holy Cross Girls PS came and did some Irish dancing for us, they wore their heavy shoes and their pumps to show us different styles of the dance. Some of our girls brought in their pumps and showed everyone their fabulous dancing. Lastly we held our own Céili which the children practised hard for all week. The children had a great day.
