In celebrating Irish traditions, the children helped make soda bread. Baking builds so many essentials skills from measuring, observing how ingredients change, fine motor skills of kneading and pouring. And most important of all it fosters patience, they had to wait for it to bake, then cool down before buttering and eating. Yummy.
