Our recent farmyard adventure was a whirlwind of discovery for our children. They were delighted to get hands-on experience petting rabbits and chicks and feeding the hens and pigs. A trip to the farm is a rich learning experience; the children developed vital sensory awareness, practiced fine motor skills through feeding, and built newfound confidence and empathy as they learned to care for living creatures. Finally no day out is complete without lunch and a play in the park.
