At Holy Cross Nursery School our main focus is teaching our children through play and real life experiences.  We do this in various ways and are always aiming to challenge our children to allow them to realise their potential and build confidence in a fun and structured environment.  We have recently made many changes to our school in both our indoor and outdoor areas.  We have play areas and play equipment that allow our children to be active and imaginative in their play.  We recently added a quiet/sensory room for children to relax in, in small groups or go to if they are feeling overwhelmed in a busy classroom.  We have also built a mud kitchen with soil and gravel pits outside for our children to enjoy some messy play.  We hope to add to our outdoor area this year and are planning to build a Willow Dome in the coming months.
